A real Christmas tree will survive around four weeks, but if properly cared for it could last longer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>1st December <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The start of December is always a popular choice for the start of the Christmas period, with many decking the halls as soon as 1st December. According to data from Tesco, 25% of people will have their trees up by this time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Advent <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Advent is the period before Christmas that celebrates the birth of Jesus and is very important in the Christian calendar.
